Membership Fees for 2025:
Membership fees are a combination of a fee payable to Rowing Queensland called a Capitation Fee and a Club Membership fee. You need to select one of the following Capitation fees.
Then we also have to pay the B&GPS club membership fees to get access to boats, coaches, etc. These fees are based on a 24×7 membership for a calendar year starting 1st January 2025 to 31st December 2025. The club membership fees are:
The sum of the two fees above will be your total invoice amount for the year.
Renew your registration for 2025:
From January 2025, we will require all new and renewing members to read and understand some documentation that will ensure we are all aware of the risks associated with rowing, and what we need to do as club members to reduce these risks.
Step 1 – River Safety Video:
The Qld Government in conjunction with Rowing Qld (RQ) has compiled a short 16-minute video on general river safety guidelines. You need to watch this before you apply or re-apply for membership. The link to the video is here:

Step 2 – Safety Management Plan:
The club has developed a Safety Management Plan. You will need to have read this document, and acknowledge that you will adhere to the guidelines that are published in the document. It can be found here:
Brisbane and GPS Rowing Club Safety Management Plan 2013 This document is being updated and refreshed for 2025. It is worth reading to understand what topics are covered in this manual.
Step 3 – Renewing Members Procedure:
When you have completed the steps above, you can renew your 2025 membership in the box below.
If your details in Revolutionise are incorrect, then we will not be able to contact you. If you have not registered in Revolutionise, you will NOT be able to enter into Regattas in 2025.
To renew your membership:
When you click on the link below you will be directed to Revolutionise (the Membership Database) application where you can renew your membership as a returning member. Once you enter your name and DOB, you will be prompted to verify your registration via an e-mail that you used to register in 2024. After you have verified the e-mail, you can select the type of Rowing Queensland Registration (called a capitation fee) that you require. Options are mainly Competitive or Non Competitive. You will then need to ADD club membership fees. These fees cover volunteer annual club membership or non-volunteer for 2025.
You will need to purchase a Rowing Qld registratoon, as well as a Brisbane and GPS Rowing club membership. The final invoice will be the sum of these two products.
Step 4 – You are now a valid B&GPS Member for 2025
When you have done all of that …. Welcome to another year of rowing at Brisbane & GPS Rowing Club. We hope you have many wonderful rows and lots of great water. If you are joining part way through the year or would like a quote for family membership please contact the club for membership fees prorated over the course of the year.
Memberships are due and payable by the 31st January 2025 at the latest. Please complete the registration process above with the appropriate payment to the Club by no later than 31st January 2025
If you have any queries about your renewal or what fees to pay (particularly if you have a family membership), please do not hesitate to contact the club by emailing the Club Administration here.
